The One Room Challenge™ Week Two !

Participating in the ORC has been on my bucket list for awhile - I’m happy to being joining the Spring 2023 event.

Stripping wallpaper was the main event last week and while it wasn’t an exciting documenting moment is was super easy. There are a few methods that you can use to remove wallpaper. For the map removal we used hot water and vinegar in a spray bottle and used the scoring tool from Piranha which you can get at Lowe’s.

This is what the wall looked like before … It took about 5 hours to get everything off including the quarter round molding that was used to frame the edges.

Spraying the vinegar and water solution did the trick.

I even had the girls to help with some removal!

After Harper picked the wallpaper that she liked, I did a few mock-ups to show her what the room could potentially look like. These were the three that she had to choose from.

Which one do you think she went with? Which would you choose?
